Colorado BoundInspired by the unbounded glory of the Colorado Rockies and landscape it's not a direct, realism representation of the subject matter, it's how it FEELS to see it, be in it or with it, it's the emotional and spiritual, if you will, experience of being there. So, in this piece, even though we know mountain ranges can be lit dramatically almost like this, I push it even further with my choice of colour palette, subject matter, brush attack and brush strokes that work harmoniously and energetically to express that specific moment in time and the viewer's visceral response to it.
