Where Butterflies are Born

This started as an abstract that I left for a few years. I then looked at it and thought, "Hmmm, it needs more", and then went back in with flowing acrylics and controlled wild abandon. A variety of different mediums were employed and acrylics in thick and thinner consistencies. Signed in the lower right hand corner. 

Working from a colourist's perspective I continue to experiment with palettes to see how much more energy and aliveness I can bring to my paintings and in the process search for more ways to make my studio and the art that is produced more eco-friendly.
