Forest SecretTitled "Forest Secret" this painting reminds me of some mythical dark European forest where there is beauty and wondrous animals, but also there is a sense of foreboding and parts of that forest one would fear to tread. However, this for the protection of the forest, for in it, there dwells a luminous mystery, a secret so tender and loving that all of Earth's natural delights emanate from it. The dark forest, the black forest's beautiful secret. Done in oil paints over an acrylic underpainting. Painting is unframed but is done in a standard 7x5 inch frame.
