"Golden Adornments"

This Mediterranean-inspired abstract landscape painting has some lovely texture, a refreshing colour scheme and golden iridescence. To develop this painting Golden molding paste was sculpted onto stretched canvas. Once cured, acrylic paints were imbued upon it full strength and in glazes and gels. Salt was added at a point to give added texture and interest. The painting was then sealed with a final clear glaze and water-based varnish. The colour of the image also goes around the edges of the canvas which was then placed in a honey maple wooden floater frame that sets it off perfectly. It is wired and ready to hang
