The Last Hurrah

The last piece for Inktober 2019. I used a variety of different inks, acrylic, watercolour, and shellac to create this abstract expressionistic piece on watercolour paper. Vibrant, uplifting and strong!

Working from a colourist's perspective I continue to experiment with palettes to see how much more energy and aliveness I can bring to the work. I am also researching more ways to make my studio and the art that is produced in it more eco-friendly, focusing on harm reduction and elimination in my methods and materials.
